Behind the locked steel doors of Ward 24 the most volatile cases are kept. Sealed from the rest of the world, the unmanageable and violent patients regress once admitted. These are the patients who have refused to move forward, and have only moved into the darkness. The doctors who staff the area have resorted to treatment and therapy considered as sinister as the souls confined within the walls of this secluded ward. Once a patient is committed, they are a resident for their remaining days. Each patient wears their curse across their forehead, a permanent reminder to others and themselves that they have no place in the world but within the confines of Ward 24.
